    Final score: 29 - 15.

Thanks for the flexibility ~ it's been a learning year.....in lots of ways!

  • Week 9

The competition definitely continues at the St. E League!

Three of the five contests ended in a three point or less variance.  Due to rescheduling, Holy Angels and St Johns squared off twice this weekend.  Two very spirited contests ~ players from both teams digging deep in the quest of grabbing the W!!

The St. Mary duo (Magdalen and Assumption) faced off with the scoreboard showing St. Mary Magdalen the victor by three points.  Maggie Connolly dropped 7 for the Bulldogs, and Hannah McDermott (SMA) going one more for a total of 8.

St. Anthony and St. Ann traded halves ~ St. Ann had the lead at the half, 11-6, with Rose Freel the primary contributor with 7 points.  However, St. Anthony kicked into high gear in the fourth quarter, with Miss Runco delivering 11 points to bring the Tigers to a 19-16 win.

The final game of the day was between St. Elizabeth and IHM.  The vikings were three buckets behind heading into the fourth quarter, but couldn't get any more shots to fall ~ IHM earned the win.

New photos have been posted, enjoy!

For Saturday, February 5th:  BRING IT ~ GAME ON!!!
  • Week 7

Second week of our divisional play began with St Mary Assumption jumping out at St Mary Magdalen, but the Bulldogs came back strong in the second half to clinch the win.  IHM and St Ann ran neck in neck through their first half, that contest ended with IHM coming out on top.
One more exciting game, St Mary Assumption held St John scoreless in the first quarter, with St John's returning the favor for the second and fourth quarters, grabbing the W in the end.

A mention for the schedule ~ while all games remain the same on the schedule for team and game time, the Home and Guest positions have been flipped for the remaining Division Games beginning with February 5th.  That is the middle of that portion of the schedule and should have been set up as such from the start.  Just being fair to those that find themselves behind the clock or the book:)
